The purpose of the procedure is to outline the process that is involved in placing or removing a URL and IP of a website from the Central Filters list.

The Central Filters list is updated every night and is appreciated that any URLs or IPs that need to be entered or removed be submitted before 4pm. This is so that the URLs or IPs can be blocked or unblocked the next day. myinternet can not guarantee that if any URLs or IPs are submitted after 4pm they will be blocked or unblocked the next day.

Please follow the following procedure to have URLs and IPs added or removed from the Central Filters list:

• Helpdesk logs a job in Management containing the following information
• URL(s)
• IP(s) (not always necessary)
• Deployment(s) to be blocked or unblocked for
• myinternet enters or removes URL(s) and\or IP(s) into Central Filters list.
• The next day myinternet confirms that the URL(s) and/or IP(s) have been blocked or unblocked and informs the Helpdesk.
